How Can We Help?
Can I stay and watch the class?
In our pre-school ‘Funfit‘ and ‘Kindergym‘ classes parents are requested to stay to help younger children get on and off the trampolines safely and ‘spot’ for safety around the trampolines. In the gymnastics half of pre-school classes, parents are welcome to join in if they feel they need to or would like to help children through the apparatus.
In our ability-based gymnastics lessons, we would usually ask that parents do NOT stay to watch the class as the children usually find it a distraction and do not always pay enough attention! We have parent sit-in weeks twice a year where you are invited to watch the class and see how your children are getting along.
In trampoline classes, it is helpful for parents to stay to help with ‘Spotting’ around the trampolines for safety. If it is not possible due to childcare, health issues or other reasons, please inform the Head Coach who will make sure there are enough people of a suitable height and maturity to provide spotting for the equipment. We hold parent sit-in weeks twice a year where you are invited to watch the class and see how your children are getting along.
